I was born on Manitoulin Island and raised in Whitefish River First Nation. The last handful of years I’ve been on a journey to reconnect with my culture and my authentic self—something I now see as a chaotic, creative, and beautiful puzzle that has come together in its own way. Life hasn’t been without hardship, but I’ve grown to truly love living and embracing every moment.
After the loss of my first son and the joy of welcoming my second, as a woman and an artist, these experiences reshaped how I see “fleeting moments” and ultimately brought me back to photography with a deeper purpose: to capture the memories we wish we could hold onto forever.
In a fast-moving world, I’m passionate about documenting the real moments—the laughter, the tears, the love, and the connection—through a natural, documentary style, with just a touch of those classic, cheesy photos we all secretly cherish.
Fun Facts About lil’ ole Me (…I’ll let you decide if they’re fun, but they are facts lol!!)
I’ve been taking photos since 2017!! (Which is crazy long when I think about it)
I am the Champion Skip-Bo Player (…between myself, sister + brother.)
I am fluent in movie and TV show quotes.
My rising sign is in Libra, Sun in Libra, Moon in Capricorn (Do I know what any of it means? No, but I like to be prepared.)
If I could own absolutely any vehicle in the entire world, it would be a 1963 Chevy C-10 stepside truck, specifically orange.
I grew up with a nearly complete Disney VHS collection, all to be donated, which I then spent YEARS recollecting said collection JUST to lose every single one in a move. (That’s not so much a fun fact, just a heartbreak I like to talk about.)
